Ecogreenunit Foundation undertook a visit to Vijayawada to create awareness and provide guidance to farmers on the principles, practices, and benefits of natural farming.
During the visit, the team met several pioneers in natural farming and explored opportunities for collaboration to promote sustainable agriculture and strengthen farmers’ livelihoods.
As part of this initiative, Ecogreenunit Foundation plans to establish a joint venture programme with experienced natural farmers, utilizing their farms as practical training and demonstration centres. With the support and expertise of these pioneer farmers, the programme aims to provide hands-on training, share proven farming practices, and encourage more farmers to adopt natural farming methods.
Key Objectives
Create awareness about natural farming among farmers.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing with experienced natural farming pioneers.
Develop practical training and demonstration centres on pioneer farmers’ farms.
Promote sustainable agriculture, soil health, biodiversity, and reduced dependence on chemical inputs.
Empower farmers through skill development, knowledge transfer, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Ecogreenunit Foundation is committed to building a network of natural farming practitioners, enabling farmers to learn directly from successful field experiences and work together towards a healthier environment and a sustainable agricultural future.
