Water hyacinth is an invasive weed which completely cover lakes and wetlands, outcompeting native aquatic species, reducing oxygen levels for fish, and creating ideal habitat for disease-carrying mosquitoes. Large infestations of water hyacinth can prevent river transport, fishing, damage bridges, and clog dams. it  is a huge challenge to eradicate these invasive species. We ecogreenunit developed an innovative technology to remove water hyacinth and by processing the stems in a low cost technology , its been converted as mats and utility handi crafts. This is a wealth out of waste concept and self employment with sustainable concepts were we train rural women folk and the entrepreneurs in this eco friendly and bio degradable concepts

its a worst among 10 Invasive species in the world.These invasive species spreaded near about 40 percent in the tiger reserves  of india. Developing countries face a huge challenge to eradicate this invasive species.In this scenario we developed an innovative technology to convert these lantana camera species into furniture and handicrafts.For the first time we provided training to make lantana camera crafts in uganda were the lantana camera is grown abundant and spoils the forests  in uganda .These particular innovative technology is been taught to the rural women folk and unemployed youth in uganda. These Project is focused as wealth out of waste concept and community based development programme in East africa.
