The Largest Agricultural Expo,Kisan 2012 was organized at Moshi,out skirts of pune,its a mega agricultural festival in central india ,near about 5 lacs  farmers are expected to visit this event.We are privilege to be a part of it by putting a stall for banana fibre project.

Design Development Workshop for Natural fibre craft artisans

The 15 Days[05.11.12 TO 20.11.12] Training Workshop in Design Development was done for Natural fibre Craft Artisans at Sulur Village In Coimbatore District.30women Artisans participated and gained the knowledge in new prototype models.The Programme was Organized by ECOGREENUNIT,and sponsored by O/o Development Commissioner,Handi Crafts,Ministry Of TexTiles,Govt Of India.

Skill Test for Artisans......................

We have identified 600 women Artisans in pollachi Rural who are into natural fibre crafts and arranged a skill test from O/o Development Commissioner,Handi Crafts.Ministry of Textiles,Govt Of India.The Artisan Identity Cards will be provided and also they can avail Loan Facilities from above mentioned department.

We had constructed Green House,especially in organic Culitavation methods in green house technology  at International Horti Expo at Kannur ,Kerala,Near about 7000 farmers visited and gained the knowledge  about the green house technology and roof top gardening methods.

Skill Test for Natural Fibre Craft Artisans

There was a skill test for the women artisans who are into natural fibre crafts.Shri Dhanasekaran,Asst Director,Handi Crafts,Govt Of India,Inspected the skills of the artisans and selected 100women artisans for Artisan id cards from the Handi Crafts Department .This  id cards will help the Artisans for various schemes from the govt agencies.which will help them to improve their livelihood..

Kumbakonam Training&products..........

A training programme on value addition in Banana fibre cum jute handi crafts was conducted at Kumbakonam training centre for the rural women groups .Near about 100 women participated and got full fledged training.This particular programme is focused on self employment for the rural women.

A mile stone in our projects

Yes we have got a membership of Anand Agricultural University in Gujrat. It will help to promote the Banana fibre project among farmers/SHGs/Entrepreneurs.Particularly the project will be focused on Banana growing Belts& it will generate self employment in 15 districts of Gujrat
