We Have started banana fibre extraction project at Gulbargha , Northern Karnataka,were bananas are abudantly grown,this particular project will be useful& an income generation for the farmers in northern karnataka .

A machinery for cutting vegitables & curry leaves was innovated by our R&D Wing,particularly this machinery can be used in small scale food processing units& in hotel industry.

Gandhi Shilp Bazzar an artisan crafts fair was conducted by O/o Development Commissioner,Handi Crafts,Ministry of textiles,Govt Of India at Coimbatore.we had a stall for banana fibre crafts and there was a good exposure for our products among the public.

We have launched Agro Tourism Project in the brand name of WILD NEST in sethumadai village in anaimalai tiger Reserve ,to promote the project we put a stall at India Travel & living Expo which was held at Coddissia Trade Fair Complex in Coimbatore from 12th to 15th Aug 2011 .Mr.Sridhar IAS,Sec ,MSME,innaugurated the stall and appreciated our efforts in tourism project,there was a good number of response from the visitors for this venture.

There was a crafts fair conducted by Crafts Council of Tamil Nadu,at Ramakrishna Kalyana Mandapam, at coimbatore from 3rd to 9th august,we show cased our banana fibre crafts which has been made by our rural women groups in tamil nadu.

AGRI INTEX,CODISSIA,COIMBATORE

The Mega Agricultural Event was conducted by TNAU&CODISSIA at Trade fair complex
in Coimbatore from 28th to 31st july .Ecogreenunit exhbited a stall for agrobased areca leaf plates and banana fibre projects and show cased the by products.Near about 1,50,000 farmers visited the fair and gained the knowledge in latest technologies in the agri cultural sector.Mr.Ayyapan ,Director General,ICAR,New Delhi was the cheif guest,Mr.Murgesa Boopathi,Vice Chancellor ,Tamil Nadu agricultural university with the chief guest visited our TNAU office and appreciated our projects.
