Banana fibre products made by our women groups in Madurai District of Tamil Nadu

 

value added products from Agri waste that too banana tree which is been wasted after harvest.The wasted pseudo stems is extracted as a fibre and the fibre is converted into value added products.This is the sustainable income source for rural women folk and farmers in Banana cultivation areas of TN.

Yes they are the women who makes banana fibre crafts in uganda in a small rural hamlet in Namnve area Near to Kampala ,Uganda.The training on banana fibre crafts was given to them in the mid of sep 2023.The picked up fast and they are into handi crafts making and running their own ventures in a smaller way in their homes itself.

 Banana fibre project is been started in uganda on sep 12th 2023.especially this Banana fibre project will be the wealth out of waste concept especially from the harvested banana trees which is a agro waste ,the value addition such as fibre ,mat and handi crafts will be taught to rural women folk all over uganda.Yes uganda has huge cultivation of Bananas .Let them come up...Oh...Come on Uganda....Cheer Up...
