INTERACTION WITH UNI BRAIN TEAM,UGANDA,

INTERNATIONAL AGRI BUSINESS INCUBATION MEET,NIABI 2012 AT NEW DELHI was jointly organized by ICRISAT,FARA,UNI BRAIN,ICAR,in Pusa Institute New Delhi,Former President of India Shri APJ ABDULKALAM Inaugurated the function.We had an opportunity to present our paper in Areca leaf plates project,Agritourism,Banana fibre project in before the dignitaries and the experts.

Banana fibre craft training for rural women at kumbakonam

Kumbakonam a temple city in south india were the cultural heritage is rich with full of paddy fields.Banana ,Sugarcane are also grown in fertile lands of this region.Here the banana pseudo stems are wasted after harvest,Ecogreenunit&Seva Bharati planned to provide self employment for rural women in this sector by providing the training in banana fibre crafts.The programme was launched in 21st jan 2012.The training will be given for 50 women who will be master trainers in banana fibre crafts,near about 1500 women will be trained and provided self employment in this venture.

International Exhibition on machineris&Tools was organized by Coddissia at coimbatore which is a mega event in Engineering sector.Particularly this venture will be a updated useful informative event for the entrepreneurs all over india ,more than 600 companies were exhibited their products.Ecogreenunit participated and show cased the advanced version of Areca leaf plates machinery/Banana fibre Extractor/Banana Sheath tearing Machine/Banana Thread Twister/Paper bag machinery Etc.Visitors are impressed by our Small business ventures from agro waste which will be use ful to them.

Design Development Workshop for our cluster artisans who are into AHVY Scheme was conducted on 09.12.11 to 23.12.11 . 30 women artisans participated and got trained in new protypes.Empanelled designer Mr.Karthik Developed and trained about the new prototypes.The dean from Agricultural university Rwanda,visited the workshop and appreciated the works of ecogreenunit.The programme was sponsored by O/o Development Commissioner,Handi Crafts,Minstry of textiles,Govt Of India

Office Cum training centre opening at Kanchi Puram

An Office cum training Centre for Areca leaf plates project/Banana fibre project/Handi Crafts/paper bag making/bee keeping was opened at Kanchi Puram on 18.12.11.Particularly it will focus on Self Help Group Women/Entrepreneurs/Farmers to promote them in above mentioned activites and improve their livly hood activites through our projects.

Honoured by the District Collector

There was a function in Tiruppur,regarding handicrafts,The programme was conducted and sponsored by O/o Development Commissioner Handi crafts,Salem office, The programme was innaugurated by the District Collector Shri Madivanan IAS.Near about 200 artisans were presented ,DDM,Nabard,LDM,Tiruppur,GM,District Industries Centre were presided the function.ECOGREENUNIT was honoured by the District Collector for its efforts in Handi Crafts Sector.
