ECOGREENUNIT Foundation successfully organized a One-Day Training Programme on Microgreens, Vetiver, and Aloe Vera Cultivation in Coimbatore on 11th July 2026. The programme attracted more than 30 participants, including farmers, women entrepreneurs, students, and individuals interested in sustainable agriculture and rural enterprise development.
The training focused on the scientific cultivation practices of Microgreens, Vetiver, and Aloe Vera, highlighting their nutritional, medicinal, environmental, and commercial importance. Participants received practical guidance on cultivation techniques, nursery management, value addition, processing methods, marketing opportunities, and the scope for developing profitable agri-based enterprises.
The interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and experience-sharing enabled participants to gain valuable knowledge and confidence to adopt these eco-friendly and income-generating ventures. The programme reflects ECOGREENUNIT Foundation's continued commitment to promoting sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and climate-resilient farming practices through capacity-building initiatives.
