An Orientation Programme was successfully conducted at Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai, focusing on Areca Leaf Plate Making, Banana Fibre Extraction, Mat Weaving, Handicrafts Making, and Microgreens Cultivation.
The programme aimed at promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities and skill development among women. Around 75 women participants actively attended the session and gained practical knowledge and insights into these eco-friendly and income-generating projects.
The event encouraged entrepreneurship and strengthened women’s participation in sustainable rural development initiatives.
