Training on Areca Leaf Plates Making for entreprenurs and women groups in mawsynram,meghalaya on 3rd feb to 5th feb 2026

 

A three-day intensive training programme on Areca Leaf Plate Making will be conducted at Mawsynram, Meghalaya from 3rd February to 5th February 2026.

This programme is specially designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and women self-help groups who are interested in starting eco-friendly and sustainable livelihood ventures.

Participants will receive hands-on training in:

• Collection and processing of areca leaves

• Plate manufacturing techniques using machines

• Quality control and packaging

• Business planning and cost estimation

• Marketing and income generation strategies
