Srilankan delegation from various voluntary organizations visited our projects on 28th Feb 2026

On 28th February 2026, a distinguished delegation from various voluntary organizations in Sri Lanka visited our sustainable livelihood project sites to gain firsthand experience of our “wealth out of waste” initiatives and community-based development models.

The delegation explored a wide range of eco-friendly and income-generating projects, including banana fibre extraction and crafts, vetiver cultivation and value addition, aloe vera cultivation, coir-based products, bio-gas units, and other rural enterprise models. Live demonstrations and interactive sessions provided them with practical insights into implementation methods, cost structures, market linkages, and community participation strategies.

The visiting members expressed deep appreciation for the simplicity, sustainability, and scalability of the projects. They were particularly impressed by how these initiatives empower women, farmers, and rural youth through skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities.

The delegation conveyed strong interest in adapting and promoting these sustainable livelihood concepts in their homeland. The visit marked a significant step toward cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange, strengthening international partnerships for community development and green entrepreneurship.
